Principal founders Jesse Marcotte and Tom Hughes have nearly 40 years of combined experience in the fire service. This includes 20 years of experience in fire administration and strategic planning. Their unique blend of experience, formal education and various training and certifications have produced a skillset that continues to expand as they seek out new learning opportunities. Jesse and Tom have also served in leadership capacities with exceptional organizations regarding fire prevention, instructor development, charitable causes, and even municipal government.
Together, Jesse and Thomas have worked as a team to develop countless task, tactical and strategic level professional development opportunities. They are experienced practitioners in the fields of fire service training programs, community risk reduction, project management, professional research and technical writing. They have also been involved with various third-party reviews including the Pro Board, the Insurance Services Office (ISO), and the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI).
